Since the age of 18, Erika Perez has made cleaning her life’s passion, starting as an independent cleaner while juggling college and expanding her business. Over 20 years later, she transformed her initial side hustle into Cleaning Solutions, a thriving company with a new downtown Greenville headquarters. Despite facing challenges, including a major decline in clientele during the pandemic, Perez’s business has flourished, now serving over 100 clients, many of whom are repeat customers.

Her journey from cleaning homes and businesses independently to running a successful business has been shaped by her commitment to offering time freedom for herself and her staff. Today, Cleaning Solutions stands as a testament to her dedication to quality service, flexibility, and community involvement, as she continues to provide exceptional cleaning services with a focus on healthier, cleaner spaces for both businesses and individuals.

Erika has spent nearly 20 years in the cleaning industry. In 2022, she founded Cleaning Solutions, Customized after co-owning another company, Cleaning & Co. Being a business owner for 8 years, Erika, now a single mom, values time freedom. Her goal is to spend more time with her family while running a healthy, successful business.

Erika's passion for plants is evident in our office, which is slowly turning into a greenhouse! She enjoys spending weekends outdoors with her kids or adding new plants to her collection.

Erika's dedication to balancing work and family life inspires our team and ensures we create a safe and enjoyable environment for our clients.

Our Cheerleader

Jenna is our team cheerleader. She has been with us since April of 2022. You will find her training new team members, sympathizing with our clients, boosting our team morale, and overall going above and beyond in everything she does.

Jenna is a mom of 3 kids and has been married for 20 years! She has a special love for organizations that support children, especially those with Congenital Heart Defects. On the weekends you will find her outside around a bonfire or going on vacations in Northern Michigan.

Kaitlyn has been the heartbeat of our office since June 2023, juggling a multitude of tasks with finesse and a smile. Her unofficial title as our "Chaos Coordinator" speaks volumes about her ability to handle any challenge thrown her way. Whether it's scheduling meetings, resolving issues, or being the friendly voice on the phone, Kaitlyn is the glue that keeps everything together.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn's life is just as vibrant. A devoted mom to a little boy and engaged to Domanic, she also shares her home with a lively menagerie of pets - three snakes, a rabbit, and a chinchilla. Her downtime is spent indulging in her passion for sewing, creating beautiful pieces at her sewing table.

Mariah has been married since 2018 and has a couple fur babies. She is very passionate about climate change and also donates to animal shelters whenever she can.

Heidi’s favorite moments often come from seeing her family’s happiness or enjoying time with those she cares about.

Her love for cozy moments is reflected in her favorite things—Yankee linen-scented candles, coffee ice cream, and cuddles. Heidi finds peace and stress relief in the serene outdoors, especially when she’s "Up North" enjoying the beauty of nature. She's passionate about her health journey, aiming to continue growing in the medical field while also facing personal challenges with grace.

With a heart for others, Heidi’s favorite mantra is to treat everyone the way you want to be treated—a principle that shines in her every interaction.

Mickaela has a love for pineapples and everything fancy and cutesy, with a special fondness for candles. Her resilience shines through in everything she does, and her positive energy is contagious!

Mickaela is a huge cheerleading fan and could talk about it for ages. She loves a good challenge and is always striving to grow, both personally and professionally. Whether it’s her favorite Starbucks order or a sweet “mama” moment with her little ones, Mickaela’s light-hearted spirit brings joy to our team.

Cleaning For A Reason

Cleaning for a Reason partners with more than 1,200 residential cleaners throughout the United States and Canada to offer free house cleaning to any household battling cancer. Since 2006, the nonprofit and its partners have donated more than $14.7 million in services, helping more than 43,000 cancer patients. In 2017, Cleaning for a Reason was adopted by ISSA Charities, the charitable arm of ISSA, The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association.
